Henderson Music have been one of the leading providers of quality musical instruments in Ireland for 40 years. Hobgoblin Music was founded in 1976 by Pete and Mannie McClelland while they were searching for a concertina to play. Many other interesting instruments came to light, and the search grew into a business as they discovered they were not the only people who wanted to buy folk instruments, but couldn’t find any.

Hobgoblin Music arrived in Brighton in June 2014 and has been in Sussex since 1976. The Brighton branch offers Hobgoblin's huge range of new and secondhand folk and acoustic musical instruments, in a splendid location a 3 minute walk down the road from Brighton's main train station, so quick to get to from Hove, Lewes, Worthing, Crawley and Haywards Heath, and an easy stroll from both the North Laines and the Churchill Shopping Centre.

In 1887 Arthur William Cooke opened a music shop in Norwich. The family run music stores have been in business ever since!
